Something else I got in a mail from a friend a couple of weeks ago. Only just got around to answering it, and thought I'd copy it here:
Welcome to the Winter 2005 edition of getting to know your friends. What you are supposed to do is copy (not forward) this entire e-mail and paste it onto a new e-mail that you'll send. Add one new question at the bottom. Change all the answers so they apply to you, and then send this to a whole bunch of people including the person who sent it to you. The theory is that you will learn a lot of little things about your friends, if you did not know them already and you might give someone a smile.

On my birth certificate - Jane. But my mother always called me Meredith Jane Elizabeth Susan Frances Margaret Catherine Anne.

Pasta with fresh pesto and looooooots of parmesan
Fresh bread with butter and honey
Chocolate
7. What foods do you dislike?
Offal
Asparagus
Aubergines
8. What is your favorite crisp flavor?
Cheese and onion
9. What is your favorite CD at the moment?
Big & Rich - Horse of a Different Color
10. What kind of car do you drive?
Skoda Fabia
11. Favorite sandwich?
BLT
12. What characteristic do you despise?
Hypocrisy

Loose and comfortable
14. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go?
Tasmania

Naaaah, don't do brands
16. Where would you retire to?
Somewhere warm, close to friends and good book- and quilt shops - and as soon as possible, please :-)

18. What was your most memorable birthday?
My 21st - or actually, the day before - dinner at Fudruckers in Austin with my big brother who'd just got married, my mum, my other brother, who disappeared for a while towards the end of dinner and came back with a brownie as a birthday cake :-) and various other family members. The actual birthday was spent flying home.
19. Where were you born?
Fort Worth, Texas
20. Favorite sport to watch?
I only watch sports if I absolutely haaaaaaaaaaave to, and I definitely don't have a favourite. Least of a torture to watch is something like showjumping, or ice dance.
21. Who won't send this back to you?
I'll be surprised (and pleased) if anybody does, to be honest!
22. Person you expect to send it back first?

23. What fabric detergent do you use?
Ariel
24. Coke or Pepsi?
Coke
25. Morning person or night owl?
As long as the morning doesn't start until around 10 am... More a middle of the afternoon person really...
26. What is your shoe size?
European 39
27. Do you have any pets?
Yes. Two cats, Cous-Cous and Hobbes, two rabbits, Lily and Pepper (aka Schnuffi). Not sure if Charlotte the Kitchen Spider really counts as a pet as such.
28. Any new and exciting news you want to share with family and friends?
I have persuaded Otto to take some time off work and go on holiday with me :) (OK, so I still have to get him to commit to an actual date for the holiday, but hey... one step at a time ;-))
29. What did you want to be when you were little?
Bigger
30. Are you happy?
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesss... yes, yeah, pretty much so. Doing this has considerably improved my Friday-afternoon-in-the-office-I-hate-my-co-worker foul temper, at any rate :-)

Jane Austen's "Emma"
32. You've suddenly found out that you are closely related to a well-known person - who would you like it to be?
Jamie Oliver - all that yummy food :-)
33. What job would you like to try out for a day?
Marine biologist - whale watching. Or wildlife photographer.
